Systemic Yeast Infection Explained
A systemic yeast infection can vary in terms of its severity. A person with a systemic yeast infection might
have relatively few symptoms that will later progress into a more severe systemic condition, while another
individual may present numerous signs of a systemic yeast infection the minute the situation develops.
A systemic yeast infection, when left uncontrolled and untreated can cause baneful symptoms in the sufferer and
can also put the individual at risk for more severe issues to develop. In some, but not all cases where a systemic
yeast infection is present, it can prove life threatening and even fatal. Learning to recognize the many symptoms
which can help in identifying a systemic condition can alert you to the need for immediate medical treatment.
Systemic Yeast Infections and Risks
Repetitive systemic infections may be indicative of health complications like the development of Diabetes, Auto
Immune Deficiency Syndrome, or Leukemia. Systemic infections are not very common, can prove fatal in more than 70
percent of all cases, and can produce issues with the onset of critical illnesses. Sometimes a body wide rash
develops on the individual with systemic Candida along with various bruises all over the body. The bruises are a
direct result of the Candida pervading one’s bloodstream and having a negative effect on one’s vessels.
Early Warning Signs of a Systemic Infection
Systemic infections typically present themselves with early warning signs. Generally, the individual will feel
weak, weary, tired, and depression can occur in the early stages of a yeast infection that has become systemic.
A systemic infection that is produced by Candida overgrowth is often a
condition that evolves over a period of time, and it is a condition that is slow in its evolution, but nonetheless
progressive. Additionally early indications of a yeast related health condition include the onset of unexplained
irritability and an occasional disassociation from reality or a feeling that can be equated to mental confusion
and/or slight disorientation.
An individual’s mental clarity with begin to diminish, his or her ability to always think clearly will also
decrease and such symptoms can be accompanied by loss of memory. Sudden allergic reactions that occur during
adulthood when no allergic reaction was formerly present are also indicative of a systemic infection. Following the
onset of strange allergic reactions, the individual with systemic Candida may present digestive issues like chronic
indigestion, flatulence, and bloating may occur.
Progressive Symptoms of a Systemic Candida Infection
When the disease progresses an individual may have difficulty swallowing, eating and drinking: this is
particularly true if the condition affects the esophagus, the throat, and the mouth. When really severe and
affecting one’s brain, it is possible that the infection can cause the onset of major depression, severe anxiety,
and in some cases, a person may even develop violent tendencies.
Along with the above mentioned symptoms, one may experience things like frequent headaches and migraines, an
elevation in blood pressure, and respiratory conditions. People that have existing issues with chronic diseases
like Diabetes and high blood pressure are also likely to experience an infection which can later evolve and become
systemic.
Getting a Diagnosis of a Systemic Yeast Infection
A diagnosis of the condition is sometimes difficult too, since many of the symptoms of a systemic Candida
condition mimic other health related issues.
The disorder may be misidentified as Fibromyalgia, Myofacial Pain Syndrome, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Irritable
Bowel Syndrome, Allergies, Asthmatic Conditions, Arteriosclerosis, Eczema, Psoriasis, Acid Reflux, Gout, Arthritic
Conditions, and Crohns Disease. The systemic infection may also be confused with things like severe acne and a
number of varying skin conditions.
If you suspect that you have a systemic condition which may be related to Candida overgrowth, it is necessary to
seek out the advice of a doctor. While many all natural cures for
yeast infection and over the counter products may help you in, at minimum, alleviating some of the
symptoms associated with the condition, you will still need to address the underlying condition in order to
successfully get it under control.
Since a systemic infection can also be indicative of other health related issues, it is to your benefit to get a
full evaluation when a systemic infection is suspected.
